Muzykalny Pictures

Muzykalny Pictures is the portfolio of the young photographer and designer, Colin Wiencek. I am currently a junior in the Communication and Arts Program at Montgomery Blair High School in Silver Spring, Maryland. I view myself as a photographer and multi-media designer, creating visual content, as well as tools to convey information. Politics and my personal worldview are my main influences.

Currently in the Works

I am currently working on a mixed media (graphic design, photography, and writing) piece entitled 'The American Insurgency.' The images are 6-8 different "regular Americans" (think mechanic, soldier, businessman, teacher, student, factory worker, artist) dressed in their expected garb except they will all have their faces masked in one way or another (gas mask, burlap sack, duct tape over mouth). A dirty and gritty feel will be achieved by using under exposure, light leaks, black and white imagery, and so on. An excerpt of the poem can currently be found on the writing section.
